Homeopathy in pain management

27/06/2020 & 28/06/2020
MIAMI, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Homeopathy therapeutic progresses worldwide and each one of us contributes to it daily.

Today, we are delighted to share with you the highlights of the 8th International CEDH Conference to be held in Miami Beach, USA on June 27-28, 2020.

- The main theme of the conference around which we will share our knowledge and experiences is:

HOMEOPATHY IN PAIN MANAGEMENT

From clinical practice to research.

- We are finalizing the program with the names of international speakers and we will share it with you very soon.

We are delighted to announce that Rachel Roberts and Dr. Alexander Tournier will present at the conference! They are respectively Chief Executive and Executive Director of the Homeopathic Research Institute (HRI).

HRI is an innovative international charity created to address the need for high quality scientific research in homeopathy. The charity was founded by physicist, Dr Alexander Tournier in 2007. In 2010, Rachel Robert joined the HRI bringing her experience as a clinician and homeopathy lecturer and her expertise in clinical research. Dr.Alexander Tournier worked for 10 years at Cancer Research UK as a researcher working on problems at the interface between biology, physics and mathematics.

They are both homeopaths and recognized worldwide for their work on clinical research in homeopathy.

We are very excited to welcome them to our 8th International CEDH Conference next year in Miami beach and we invite you to learn more about their work at: https://www.hri-research.org/about-hri/management-staff/.

The conference will foster exchanges on clinical research in homeopathy and attendees will benefit from their extensive expertise in this area.

A large part of this conference will be dedicated to Pain management without opioids or NSAIDs.

In fact, opioid addiction has become a real public health issue in the USA these past years but also in other parts of the world.

Here is an interesting article from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on this topic: https://www.hhs.gov/opioids/about-the-epidemic/index.html?utm_source=sendinblue&utm_campaign=CONFERENCE_DE_MIAMI_EN__3&utm_medium=email

During the conference John Golden, François Mulet, Jean-Pierre Loupias and Sébastien Musslin will talk about the relevance of homeopathy in pain management according to three axes:

- In the case of adverse side effects of analgesics (Step 1 and 2 of the World Health Organization analgesic ladder)

- In subjects with contraindications (pregnant women, women who are breastfeeding, children, elderly populations)

- In opioid addicts (step 3 and 4 of the World Health Organization analgesic ladder)
