We invite you to carefully read these General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “GTC”), which apply to users (hereinafter “You”) of the website http://www.cedh.org/. Accessing this website (hereinafter “Site”) and registering for any training course constitutes your unconditional acceptance of these GTC.

The Site provides access to information about CEDH: its training courses, educational tools, events, news, documentation, international presence, and information about its journals and books.
You may freely and free of charge access the Site; however, certain features require the creation of an account. Any costs incurred for accessing the service (computer equipment, software, internet connection, etc.) are at your own expense.
CEDH uses all reasonable means to provide quality access to its services. This is a best-efforts obligation and does not constitute a guarantee of result.
Some Site services require the creation or login to a personal account. Account creation is free but mandatory to register for training via the Site.
As a User, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information. You may update your information at any time from your personal account space.
You are also solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (username and password), which are personal and non-transferable. You agree not to disclose your password to third parties and to immediately notify CEDH of any unauthorized use of your account.
All registrations must be completed and validated by CEDH no later than 48 hours before the start of the training.
Upon validation of your registration, you will receive by email:
Your registration becomes final after the withdrawal period has expired.
All prices displayed on the Site include VAT.
In accordance with distance selling regulations, you have a 14-day withdrawal period starting from the day after your registration. During this period, you may cancel your participation by emailing contact@cedh.org at no cost. Any amount already paid will be fully refunded using the same payment method.
Payments can be made by credit card or bank transfer. An invoice will be issued at the end of the month in which the training begins.
In accordance with distance selling regulations, you may withdraw within 14 calendar days from the day after your registration by emailing contact@cedh.org.
Any cancellation must be communicated by email to contact@cedh.org. In the event of cancellation:
CEDH reserves the right to cancel a training course if optimal conditions for its delivery are not met. Participants will be notified by email no later than 8 days before the start date.
Os reembolsos são possíveis sem taxas de cancelamento até 30 dias antes do primeiro dia da conferência. Após esta data, não será efetuado qualquer reembolso, exceto se o cancelamento for justificado:
- Por razões médicas,
- Por motivos de força maior (tal como definidos pela jurisprudência francesa, nomeadamente: pandemia, guerra, catástrofe natural).

A participant may cancel his participation to the conference, at no cost, up to 30 days before the 1st day of the conference. After that date no refund will be made, unless one is unable to attend due to:
- Medical circumstances
- Force majeure (as defined by French law and including: pandemics, war, natural disasters)
In any case, the participant needs to inform the CEDH by email at conferences@cedh.org
The content on the Site and related rights are the property of CEDH, including but not limited to trademarks, designs, text, logos, sounds, images, and their layout.
Training programs, content, and teaching methodologies are protected by copyright.
Any reproduction, representation, adaptation, modification, publication, transmission, alteration, integration into another site, commercial exploitation, and/or reuse—whether total or partial—of the Site, its content, or training materials, by any means and on any medium, is strictly prohibited and may constitute copyright infringement and/or counterfeiting under the French Intellectual Property Code.
Your personal data collected on the Site is processed in accordance with applicable regulations. You may consult our “Personal Data Protection Policy” page.

By browsing the Site and using CEDH’s services, you agree to:

When you register for a training course, you agree to participate, meet the stated prerequisites, comply with the internal regulations provided, and act diligently during the training sessions.
CEDH may, at any time, suspend, block, or interrupt access to the Site for one or more users in the following cases:
CEDH does not guarantee that the Site will operate without interruption, error, or malfunction, nor that it will be available on a permanent basis. Since CEDH cannot fully control the flow of information over the internet, it cannot guarantee that the Site is free from viruses or elements that could damage your computer. However, CEDH makes every effort to ensure that the Site does not contain any viruses or other harmful elements for your computer or device used to access the Site.
The services provided via the Site by CEDH comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Any links on the Site to external websites are provided for informational purposes only. CEDH cannot be held responsible for the content of these external websites.
Access to and use of the content of this Site is at your own risk. Under no circumstances shall CEDH, nor any other party involved in the creation or operation of the Site, be held liable for damages resulting from access to, use of, or inability to access or use the Site or any linked sites.
Any event resulting from force majeure that causes internet network malfunctions will not engage CEDH’s liability. The user agrees not to claim any compensation as a result of the interruption, suspension, or modification of these GTC.

CEDH guarantees trainees compliance with its obligations as a training provider. In the event of a dispute arising from the registration and/or participation in a training course, CEDH’s liability will be limited to the total amount (including taxes) of the training in question.
CEDH may modify these GTC to reflect changes in national or international law or changes in the software used to operate the Site.
In such cases, the current GTC will be automatically terminated and replaced by the new version, which will be immediately enforceable. The date of the last update will be indicated in Article 1.5 of these GTC.
To stay informed of any changes, you are encouraged to review the GTC regularly. A notification of any updates will be sent via the Site and by email.
If any part of these conditions is found to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable for any reason, the term(s) in question will be deemed non-existent, and the remaining terms will retain their full force and effect.
These GTC are governed by French law. Any disputes will be submitted to the courts within the jurisdiction of the Paris Court of Appeal, failing amicable resolution.
